FREE Opening Night 

A Festival booth all day at the Teneriffe Festival on Saturday 2nd July, followed by a 6.15pm screening of short films from Disney/Pixar, Warner Bros & international independent short animated film-makers. This family friendly, open-air event is to be held at the Sir Manuel Hornibrook park, located at 39 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe, (between Aqua Linea restaurant & the riverfront)

Sunday Sessions

The following day from 10am-4pm there will be four x 1.5 hour sessions of specific animation categories at the Queensland State Library auditorium on Sunday 3rd July. These will include a Kids Program, New Generation Animation, Special Selection and the Best of Ottawa International Animation Festival (adult content). 

Children's Animation Workshops  

This will be followed by five days of children's animation workshops (it is the 2nd week of the July school holidays) from Monday 4th July up to and including Friday 8th July. These will be all day workshops will be a choice of one or both the two areas most accessible to children and teens: Stop Motion Animation & Flash 8 Animation

Closing Night & Awards  

Closing night is a screening of Disney/Pixar's latest animated feature movie "CARS 2" shown 3D, on Friday 8th July at 6:30pm, Palace Barracks Cinema, Petrie Terrace, Brisbane.  Following the screening there will be the awards presentation for Best Student Animation, People's Choice & Best Animated Film. Attendees also receive a complimentary beer, wine or soft drink.
